Corporate Relocation Project
PTS provided the international insurance company, Markel International with the IT, AV and Physical Security aspects of the relocation programme to their iconic 20 Fenchurch Street office. By providing further support with Project Management, PTS supported the Client and ensured that the crucial deadline to move was met on time and on budget.

A Mobile and Agile Environment:
Working closely with the Client, PTS was able to understand how enhancements to Markel's IT infrastructure could improve and enhance working practices. To support mobility PTS proposed solutions like follow-me-printing and designed a pervasive Wi-Fi network to ensure staff could work just as effectively in breakout areas as well as desks.
Digital Signage Solutions:
PTS helped Markel to create and implement a personalised digital signage strategy. Our team engaged with the Facilities and Internal Communications department so that signage across the workspaces, including the meeting rooms, displayed dynamic content that adapted depending on various environmental 20 Fenchurch Street (The Walkie Talkie) changes, all within the control of the communications team. This Project was an asset relatively unprecedented in a corporate relocation and demonstrates PTS Consulting’s ability to work alongside the client to innovate.
In addition to this, PTS used extensive knowledge of the AV industry to enhance Markel’s flexible working space. A digital room booking system was integrated into the plans, alongside the associated AMX panels. Cisco VM conferencing, and three demountable partition spaces with smart sensor technology to detect the different configuration of room use have resulted in effective working practices within the new Markel environment.
