PTS Consulting is looking to recruit a Commercial Account Director based in London to join our commercial team.  The successful candidate will undertake sales activities, within an agreed Sales and Marketing strategy, that result in sales orders from new Account Managed clients to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for 'Gross Profit on Sale' and Sales Order Value. 

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Support the development of Sales and Marketing plans
  • Sales Lead Generation
  • New Client Prospecting
  • Responding to Tenders
  • Opportunity Management (PSA)
  • Closing of business opportunities
  • Project initiation and ongoing account management
  • Reporting
  • Exhibitions and client facing events

Experience

  • Significant experience working in an IT or similar technical environment
  • Proven experience in a consultancy role
  • Proven experience in a sales or Business Development role
  • 'Blue Chip' public and/or private sector client experience
  • knowledge of vertical markets: Financial Services; Utilities; Retail and major corporates in FTSE 250, Insurance; Legal & Professional service organisations
  • Long Term client business development/Account Management understanding
  • New Business lead generation, prospecting and closing
  • English and Maths plus applicable Technical courses to demonstrate an understanding of IT/AV/Comms technologies
  • Sales skills/ account management
  • Technology and Data Centre experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Good understanding of consulting and technology will be beneficial
