Planned Telecom Services, now PTS Consulting, was founded in 1983, initially operating as the subsidiary of an interior construction company. The company specialised in a turnkey fit-out service, mostly for overseas banks establishing headquarters in London.
CEO Kevin Perrett led a management buyout in 1990, at a time when PTS had fewer than ten employees, planning to grow into new sectors, territories and diversify the company's service offerings.
In 1995, PTS Managed Services was established along with the first overseas office in Japan. With the new millennium came a name and home, with Planned Telecom Services changed to PTS Consulting.
Over the next decade, PTS continued to grow, acquiring Partnership Education, security consultants CHQ and AV consultancies MJC Consultants and MAG Group, allowing PTS to provide a unique, fully converged approach to technology in the Built Environment. The Company also expanded territorially by opening offices in the USA, Canada, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Recognised as ‘ones to watch’ by the Sunday Times and a top 50 Global Managed Services Provider in MSPmentor's list of top 501 Global Managed Services Providers, PTS’ quality driven approach has not gone unnoticed. The company has picked up various accolades including Data Centre Special Assignment of the Year at the Data CentreDynamics Awards, Outstanding Green initiative at the Global Business Excellence Awards, as well as being ranked 41st in The Sunday Times' International Track 200 and 65th in the Sunday Times' Profit Track 100.
2013 saw our HQ move to 60 New Broad Street in the City of London and an injection of growth capital from Business Growth Fund will ensure that PTS will continue to expand and reach its full potential. But of course, all this would not be possible without our valued clients and our greatest asset, our people.
