Program Analyst, Boston (Contract)

 
 

 
 

PTS Consulting is looking to recruit a program analyst working within our Boston hub. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is a team player able to work within a creative team operating within a studio-style technical programme office. As a Program Analyst, you’ll mainly be responsible for specific reporting and tracking duties and introducing improvements week by week to progress the project and building project, programme of change management credentials. The ideal candidate should be able to rationalise and systematically analyse raw data, cleanse, transform and model into information useful for decision making.

This role is suited for someone who is interested in building new project processes and motivated to support both the immediate and coach project managers and project coordinators. You must be willing to gain familiarity with the PTS Consulting Program Management methods and although some Microsoft Project skills are desirable, you must be willing to improve skills with the software.

Please note, that this is for a contract role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create Management progress reports from source data and advisory papers for Program Governance Board and Steering Committee

  • Support Technical Project Manager deliver the Program Objectives to specification, on-time and to budget

  • Work with Technical Project Managers to identity, agree, report and  manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Changes via the RAIDC Tracker.

  • Provide  Coordination, documentation and be the “go to” place for all matters relating to the Program

  • Support Track Plan development and create milestone reports including Plan on a Page

  • Develop and report on meaningful Program performance metrics, including coordinating BAU and various data sources that are needed to support the measurement of Program progress.

  • Manage Track change requests through the program change process

  • Manage Track communications and key stakeholders

  • Documentation standards,  configuration, SharePoint administration and customization

  • Develop the data extract and update process to maintain the Master Schedule

  • Manage Track level tracking of resources, decisions, actions, budget, learning and benefits

  • Identify and execute program consulting interventions in tooling, automation and process improvement
