Revit / BIM Team Leader - London



PTS is a leading IT and Project Management Consultancy. This is an opportunity for a Revit/BIM Team Leader to join a global team. Collectively we provide a vendor independent one stop shop solutions to our Clients within the Built Environment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

This opportunity will suit an experienced Physical Security professional with experience in the consulting space. Technical experience with many of the following is desirable:

  • Day to day management of the CAD / BIM Team 

  • When required to assist in the production of Revit models of containment,
    pathways and IT cabling for hyper scale data centres 

  • To provide quality assurance checks on other Revit Techs. drawing production 

  • To develop training plans for new joiners and existing Team members 

  • To attend BIM coordination meetings and to coordinate models with other
    discipline working on the project 

  • To attend face-to-face Client drawing review meetings  (page turns) at locations across Europe (approx. once every two months) 

  • Development and administration of drawing libraries and updating of drawings in line with current technologies

  • Management and administration of drawing change control and drawing filing system

  • Provide Lead Technology Consultants with accurate and timely management information on workflow and workload

  • Ensure that a project audit trail is maintained and PTS Companies’ integrity is maintained at all times 

  • Ensure that all work is carried out within the parameters of PTS Companies’ standards (Project Life Cycle, Change Management etc.), and
    in accordance with the Company's BS EN ISO 9001 procedures 

  • Submission and retrieval of drawings and documents on a variety of client project document management systems

  • Timely delivery of all project drawing sets and maintain commercial efficiency in drawing production

  • Adhere to all stated company policies, including Health and Safety

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and betterment of your team and PTS Companies corporately

  • Ensure all time is accurately recorded and updated weekly in the PTS timesheet system

Key Skills:

  • Team Leadership

  • Good knowledge of relevant systems and associated technologies and methodologies

  • “Hands-on” practical expertise of the Revit toolset with awareness of MEP  

  • BIM coordination experience 

  • Scripting or automation/ Dynamo experience essential

  • Experience working on large scale infrastructure projects 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Strong administration skills

  • Strong understanding of metric and imperial measurements/conversions (scaling) 

  • Excellent communication skills
