Senior Bid Manager - London

 
 

 
 

PTS Consulting is looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our commercial team. This is a cross functional role, encompassing commercial management, bid management and contractual activities. The candidate should have exceptional people management skills, the ability to liaise with and confidently influence stakeholders at all levels and the ability to work cross-functionally. As part of a global organisation, access will be provided to international resources to help drive commercial activity and process.

The Bid Manager ensures competitive proposals that will deliver good business that is profitable, deliverable and reference able.

Experience:

The right individual will have the following background:

  • At least five years experience of Bid Management in IT consultancy or professional services

  • Writing, producing and managing formal Bids (e.g. PQQ/RFI, ITT/RFP)

  • Managed multiple Bids at one time

  • Educated to degree level

The following experience would be an advantage:

  • Responding to formal tenders within the financial and public sector

  • Reviewing contracts

Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team supporting the business by managing the creation of proposals and reviewing contracts. In this role you will orchestrate proposal creation within defined deadlines, overseeing commercial process and coordinating relevant stakeholders. You will manage the proposal and presentation library, refining and standardising documents for template development. You will also provide commentary on contractual documentation, explaining and acquiring agreement on commercial risk from management, as well as engaging directly with external legal representation where necessary.

  • Language skills in Cantonese or Mandarin would be an advantage

  • Able to communicate at all levels
